Arsenal and Chelsea have received great news in their look for a new manager.

Is this the news Premier League fans have been waiting for? While nothing has been confirmed, the odds of Massimiliano Allegri leaving Juventus have received a huge boost thanks to a new report by Tuttosport.

The Bianconeri has stated that their manager will not be leaving the club, but the Turin-based news outlet hints otherwise. According to their report, the soon-to-be Serie A champion has begun their search for a new manager.

With their current boss entering the final year of his contract and ready to quit, Juventus has shortlisted a number of candidates to succeed the 50-year-old at the Allainz Stadium. Leading the list is the man in charge at Lazio, Simone Inzaghi.

Diego Simeone is another candidate, someone who has Serie A experience and will maintain, if not strengthen, the Old Lady’s rock-solid defense. Didier Deschamps is another name being mentioned.

Liverpool’s Jurgen Klopp and Tottenham’s Mauricio Pochettino are two other managers in the long shortlist. However, their knowledge of Italian football, or lack of it, works against them.

As for Allegri, the Italian reportedly favors a move to England and would join the Premier League should he leave the Italian leader. Arsenal has strongly been linked with them, with their manager of 22 years Arsene Wenger stepping down at the end of the season. Chelsea is also in the mix, as the unsettled Antonio Conte is likely to leave once this campaign ends.
