The Egyptian star gave the Reds a commanding lead after 45 minutes thanks to a couple of impressive finishes in front of goal.

Mohamed Salah is on the verge of re-writing Liverpool's record books in his first season with his goal tally in all competitions, but he has already accomplished that feat in the UEFA Champions League.

The Egyptian footballer scored a brace against Roma in the first 45 minutes of their semi-final clash after a few inspired minutes by the Reds, who overcame Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain's injury brilliantly.

Taking full advantage of the team's quick-paced attack, Salah's goals secured him a spot in Liverpool's record books in European competitions, while also making him the best goalscorer in Europe with 43 goals at the moment.

And just so you know, Salah found his goalscoring shoes as he joined the Reds.

But that wasn't the only record Salah set with his display against Roma.
