Last season, PSG had to watch Monaco end their reign as champions of France. This time around, Les Parisiens not only are in pole position to wrest away the title, but can do so in fantastic fashion by beating Les Rouges-et-Blancs in Paris. As things stand, Unai Emery's men sit 14 points clear of Leonardo Jardim's side, meaning that a win will leave them 17 points clear with just five games to go, so the title could be mathematically sealed this Sunday.
Will they be able to do it? The hosts have been boosted by the return of Kylian Mbappe, who will certainly be looking to play a huge part against his former side. It's been a frustrating season for Emery's side, who were dumped out of the Champions League by Real Madrid despite spending big this summer to further enhance the squad. So far, PSG have gotten the better of Monaco in each of their three meetings this season: in the Coupe de la Ligue, in Ligue 1, and in the Trophée des Champions. So far, Bayern Munich are the only side in Europe's "Big 5" leagues to have already sealed the domestic title. Should Manchester United fail to pick up all three points against West Brom, then Manchester City will also join this small club.
