The German National Team and Bayern Munich had reasons to smile today, as Manuel Neuer seems to be fully recovered from a left foot injury that kept him on the sidelines since September.
The German shot-stopper returned to the pitch yesterday and ran laps along with a member of Bayern Munich's staff. Today, Neuer stepped into the pitch with his football shoes on, and started running drills and stopping shots from The Bavarians' goalkeeper coach, Toni Tapalovic.
The 32-year-old footballer expects to make his comeback in the next couple of weeks, sticking to a recovery plan crafted especially for him.
Bayern Munich celebrated his return to their training complex with a number of tweets.

Germany's coach Joachim Löw hinted that Neuer's spot as Die Mannschaft's No. 1 goalkeeper is almost secure, but that will be decided when he puts on the gloves for an official match.
