The Gunners surpassed 1000 EPL goals at home in Sunday's 3-0 win over Watford.

Arsene Wenger's men sat at the Emirates Stadium to comfortably blast three goals past Watford. Shkodran Mustafa instigated the easy ride by heading home a Mesut Ozil free-kick to open the scoring for the host.

Club-record signing, Aubameyang, then made no error of Mkhitaryan’s pass to double his side’s advantage. The Gabonese forward later returned the favor for his former Borussia Dortmund teammate to get the game’s third after Petr Cech had saved Troy Deeney’s penalty attempt.

The historic archives were quickly visited and it revealed that the goal scored by the Mustafi was, in fact, Arsenal’s 1000th on their home soil. The Londoners, as a result, have become the second team behind Manchester United to have reached the threshold.

The Red Devils attained the milestone via Anthony Martial's winner in the 1-0 win over Everton back in April 2016. Their tally now stands at 1066 with Arsenal now boasting of 1002.
