Furthermore, Tottenham has not lost a home game against an Italian opposition in seven previous ties (W4, D3). Nonetheless, Juventus is on a seven-game unbeaten run against Premier League sides and is unbeaten in their last three trips to England (W1, D2).
Allegri’s crew needs more than avoiding defeat. A 1-1 draw would send Tottenham through on away goals, meaning winning is the safest route into the last eight for Higuain and Co. Juventus must overcome their London nightmares and end that awful record if they wish to keep their Champions League campaign alive.
