The German club might have to sell their influential attacker this summer or risk losing him for nothing at the end of 2018/19.

Marco Reus has long been linked with a move to the Premier League, but a move transfer materialized. However, a move to England could come true this summer, if the latest rumors are true.

The German, as stated by the Daily Mail, is stalling over signing a new deal with Borussia Dortmund. After seeing several the likes of Lewandowski, Hummels, Dembele, Mkhitaryan, and Aubameyang leave Signal Iduna Park; Reus wants to see the club’s transfer ambition first before committing.

His current deal is set to expire at the end of next season. This means the Bundesliga giant will have to consider cashing in on him this summer or risk losing him for nothing if they fail to tie him down with a new deal.

Tottenham is one club ready to pounce should the 28-year-old decide to leave. Spurs would offer the German a contract to lure him north London in a bid to build on their promising squad.

However, Pochettino’s side isn’t the only club watching Reus. Liverpool is also reportedly keen on acquiring his services should he become available in the transfer market.

The player’s struggles with injury could put off some suitors, however. He has suffered lengthy spells on the sidelines in the last few seasons, but has returned to full fitness and form in a late bid to make the 2018 World Cup.
