It can be easily said that there's no love lost between the London giants and the Catalan powerhouse. Chelsea famously knocked out Barcelona in the 2011/2012 semi-finals en route to winning their first - and only - Champions League trophy to date. It was sweet revenge for Blues fans after the team's controversial exit back in the 2008/2009 exit, where some dubious refereeing decisions saw the tie swing in the Blaugrana's favor, and now the two very familiar foes will meet yet again in another knockout round.

Barcelona are currently the only unbeaten team in the La Liga and boast a strong seven point lead over second-placed Atletico Madrid despite drawing two straight fixtures. However, they come into this game having earned a solid 2-0 win over Eibar at the weekend and are into the finals of the Copa del Rey, thus meaning that Ernesto Valverde men are well on course for securing a potential Treble at the end of this season.

Meanwhile, Chelsea are well out of the running to secure the Premier League title, and are out of the English League Cup after losing to Arsenal. They're also barely hanging on to a top four spot with Tottenham nipping at their heels, so at this point, the only chances at silverware for Antonio Conte's side are the FA Cup, where they'll face Leicester City in the last eight, and theoretically the Champions League - provided, of course, they can take care of business agianst Barcelona over two legs first.
