The Brazilian legend had a nice long chat with former midfielder Zico, where the name of A Canarinha's brightest star of the moment emerged.

Former Real Madrid and Barcelona ace Ronaldo discussed a variety of topics with legendary midfielder Zico in a Youtube video. One of those topics was Neymar's decision to join PSG this summer, sacrificing the top-caliber level of the Spanish league in order to win more money with Les Parisiens.

According to Ronaldo, Neymar's decision wasn't justified, especially considering the quality of both domestic competitions.

"When you look at it with the game on your mind, it's a step backwards. The only way I could see it as a valid option would be if it was a personal challenge," Ronaldo stated.

"I did the same thing when I left Barcelona to join Inter Milan. I was criticized, but back then, the Italian top flight was more competitive," the former footballer added.

The former Brazil international also referred to the future of A Canarinha, praising one of their rising talents.

"Gabriel Jesus is really something. I see some aspects of my game in how he plays. We've been needing a great No. 9 in the Brazilian team for some time, and he is the right man for the job. We have to support him, because the World Cup is just around the corner and we need his goals to win the title," the player concluded.
