The Welsh ace came from the bench to score the game-winning goal for Los Blancos against Al Jazira on Wednesday,

Gareth Bale's road to recovery wasn't easy, but as The Beatles used to say, he made it back with a little help from his friends.

Speaking to FIFA.com, the Welsh ace shared how his team-mates were key for him to make it back to the pitch after a two-month absence.

Yes, it's been a difficult period, every footballer goes through phases in which they have injury problems, but they (his team-mates) have been right there with me, asking how I was doing in my rehabilitation process. It's nice to be back on the pitch playing again, now I just have to keep going," Bale said.

Bale analyzed Wednesday's game against Al Jazira, who came close to eliminating the European champions with their tough defense and impressive counter-attacks.

"If we'd finished off all our chances to score it would've been an easy one. In the end it was tough because we didn't score. The most important thing is that we won, and it doesn't matter if it was 6-0 or 2-1," Bale added.

The Welshman will have the chance to win a third Club World Cup on Saturday, when Real Madrid face Gremio in the tournament's final. As of now, Bale has played three games in this competition, scoring the same amount of goals.
