Die Mannschaft and El Tri will face each other for the fourth time in a FIFA World Cup. All previous meetings have been won by the Germans.

Football is just a game, and players from around the world know that for a fact, especially since they can get out of the pitch and still share a moment with their rivals.

That's exactly what happened after Mexico and Germany were drawn together in Group F of the FIFA World Cup. Some of each team's most recognizable players took it to social media to comment on their team's fate, and how they will be able to say hi to some of their colleagues.

Such was the case of Mexican goalkeeper Guillermo Ochoa, who mentioned his friend Marc André Ter-Stegen in a tweet. Both goalkeepers are top candidates to guard their team's net next summer.

The answer came via Mats Hummels, who's friendship with Mexican defender Oswaldo Alanís has been well documented in the last couple of years. Hummels and Alanís have been named by fans as "twins" due to their striking resemblance, and their friendship has blossomed even if they haven't crossed paths yet.
