Preview

Milan come into this game having finally ended a downward spiral by defeating Chievo 4-1 on the road. Prior to that, the Rossoneri were sans a win in their last four matches, and disturbingly, this included a 2-0 loss to Sampdoria and a scoreless draw with Genoa - two teams that considering the amount of money the club's owners spent this summer that they should have defeated.

Unfortunately for the hosts, they're missing Leonardo Bonucci due to suspension, whilst Giacomo Bonaventura could miss out due to injury, making their task of stopping the visiting reigning Serie A champs more difficult.

Meanwhile, Juventus are still in third spot and will be hoping to chase down the top two sides, Inter and Napoli by beating Milan in today's big game. The Bianconeri saw their long-standing unbeaten home record snapped by Lazio last weekend, but come into this game having won their last two games by an aggregate score of 10 to 3 by crushing Udinese 6-2 and SPAL 4-1. With Mario Mandzukic back from a ban, they now have more options in attack, whilst Massimiliano Allegri is expected to bring back Giorgio Chiellini and Gigi Buffon back into the starting XI after resting both midweek.
