Premier League action may not be taking place until the weekend, but that doesn't mean that football is on hiatus in England.
Chelsea coach Antonio Conte recently referred to the EFL Cup, now named the Carabao Cup due to sponsorship reasons as a "waste of time", joining the likes of Manchester United's Jose Mourinho and Manchester City's Pep Guardiola to express their frustration at the tournament adding further strain to their already busy schedules, but for now, Chelsea, like Manchester United and Manchester City, will still have to feature in the competition.
