Edinson Cavani's relationship with his Brazilian team-mates at PSG seems to be on a low point, as they have chosen to support Neymar in their internal dispute over who will be the team's top choice to take penalties.
According to RMC Radio, the team decided to celebrate Thiago Silva's birthday by throwing a party in on of the conference rooms at Parc Des Princes. Silva's wife took the task of inviting all the players, and while Julian Draxler or Layvin Kurzawa missed the celebration, Edinson Cavani was the most notable absence of the evening.
The party was a good excuse to set all problems aside and try to unify the team, especially because of the tough UEFA Champions League match ahead against Bayern Munich. Unfortunately, the efforts prove to be futile as Cavani was a no-show.
Since Neymar and Cavani entered an argument over a PK and a free kick against Olympique Lyon, Neymar was left out of the squad that faced Montpellier on Sunday. Needless to say, his absence took a toll on the team's performance, as they were held to a goal-less draw by La Paillade.
