Klopp’s men lost 2-0 on that day – their fourth straight game in all competition without a win. Craig Shakespeare is likely to adopt a similar approach – hitting the away side with counter attack football – with Vardy and Okazaki expected to spearhead their attack.
The Merseyside giants are still without top-scorer Sadio Mane, who is suspended. The Senegalese’s eye for goal has been missed, but Daniel Sturridge – most likely to start – must convert for Liverpool.
Emre Can and Joel Matip are both doubts due to match fitness, but the later should start nonetheless. Adam Lallana (thigh) and Nathaniel Clyne (back) remain sidelined.
