If Manchester United fans were expecting good news about Paul Pogba's return, they will have to sit and wait.
In today's pre-match presser, José Mourinho gave an update on the midfielder's fitness, and his forecast didn't offer a glimmer of hope.
I have no idea when he (Pogba) will be back, no idea, but again, this is a great opportunity for other players to play and I trust them all," Mourinho stated.
The Special One, who has his team topping the EPL standings along with Pep Guardiola's Manchester City, went on to give an inspirational message to those players who are still available to play.
"I'm not going to cry or be counting the days until Pogba comes back. When he comes back, welcome, but until then I trust my people," the coach added.
Pogba picked up a hamstring injury during Man United's UCL debut against Basel, and was initially expected to miss six weeks. Unfortunately, his recovery process hasn't gone as planned, prompting Mourinho to look for options among his multi-talented squad.
