The French defender may be having trouble to secure a spot in the team's Starting XI, but he'll surely earn some praise from Barca fans after this

Lucas Digne hasn't been a suitable solution for Barcelona, considering he hasn't been the best option to replace Jordi Alba as the team's regular left back. But his gesture after the terrorist attacks on Thursday will surely earn him some respect from Blaugrana fans.

Reports by RAC 1 state that Digne, who's home is close to Las Ramblas (the place where the attack happened), saw dozens of people on the ground after being run over by a van. Immediately, Digne left his home to aid some of those injured, while trying to confort them after a truly scary moment.

His attempt to help even further were brought to an end by the Spanish Police and First Responders, who adviced those who volunteered to keep themselves away from the streets, as more attacks could take place in the same area of the city.

The footballer's actions may have made the difference for someone who was injured, and even if he wasn't able to help for an extended period of time, his gesture in a time of need for his adoptive city won't be forgotten.
