Gerard Pique's sense of humor saw him get involved in controversy, as a prank caused some fans to blast his words against the legendary Iker Casillas.
The shot-stopper posted a picture via his Instagram announcing his departure to Mexico, where Porto will face Cruz Azul and Chivas in a couple of friendlies. The composition of that pic had Casillas covering his face with his passport, and that's where Piqué's words intervened.
In the red circle, you will see Pique's comment in Casillas' Instagram feed.
Piqué's words translate to "that's one of the best pics of you...it's a relief we can't see your face!"
While some fans took Pique's statement as a joke amongst friends, others criticized Pique's words and deemed them as too offensive.
