Added to Alexis Sánchez's limping after today's training session, La Roja won't have their captain around for the game against Cameroon.

Chile's chances of success rely heavily on the health of their finest players. Apparently, two of them won't be available for their first game in the FIFA Confederations Cup against Cameroon.

Following Alexis Sánchez's ankle problems, the Chilean Football Association revealed that their No.1 goalkeeper and captain Claudio Bravo will have to watch La Roja's debut in the competition from the stands, as he hasn't been able to recover from a calf injury that's been bothering him since April.

"Even though his calf seems to show signs of recovery, his availability for the upcoming games will be determined as those dates come closer," the Chilean Association revealed in a press release.

Bravo expected to shine in the tournament, as he's faced harsh criticism from Manchester City fans due to his poor performances that saw him lose the starting spot with the Sky Blues.

For the game against Cameroon, coach Juan Antonio Pizzi has named Cristopher Toselli as the starting goalkeeper.
