The Swedish ace is currently recovering from knee surgery, but his agent has finally revealed where the striker wants to play next season.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic's future in European football has finally been clarified, and Manchester United fans should be happy about it.

The Red Devils' best striker this season will sit down with Manchester United execs to discuss their plans for next season, where Mourinho's crew will play the UEFA Champions League and all domestic cups.

Speaking to Talksport, Ibra's agent Mino Raiola admitted that the Swedish ace wants to remain with the European giants, despite interest from other teams around the world.

"He wants to keep playing in the EPL, and if he understands that he'll have a key role at Manchester United, why shouldn't he stay? He could also talk with other big clubs, but we feel it's better to have a chat with our current team and see what their plans for the immediate future are," Raiola stated.

Later, the Italian agent admitted there have been several discussions about his client's departure to the MLS, but no real contract talks have been held. That's a privilege they have reserved for Manchester United.

"There have been a number of rumors and proposals, but we have to look into them. He enjoyed his first season here, and now, the club and myself will determine what's next for him. The most important thing right now is having him back, fully fit to play," Raiola added.

Ibrahimovic scored 28 goals in 46 games for Manchester United, before a knee injury brought his season to an abrupt conclusion.
