"It was lovely to be a Real Madrid player. In the next few days, I'll let fans know about my decision, because they've always had my back," Cristiano stated.
"We've made history tonight, it's time to celebrate right now," the striker concluded.
The player's statement might be fueled by the team's lack of decision to offer him a new contract. Nevertheless, it seems like CR7 chose the worst timing ever to share his thoughts on the matter.
