The Italian shot-stopper left the door open to extending his career, and some clubs have already gotten in touch with his agent.

Gianluigi Buffon's announcement in terms of extending his football career away from Juventus gathered interest from several teams, and after a couple of weeks, the player may be ready to let the world know what his next move will be.

Speaking in an interview with The Sun, Buffon's agent Silvano Martina admitted that his client is weighing all options that have risen since he decided to continue his playing career, and he hinted that there would be some chances of watching the 40-year-old goalie working in the Premier League.

"In England, he always really admired West Ham supporters, and even wrote about it in his book. I can't name names specifically out of respect for Gigi. He asked me not to mention specific clubs, but he does love England," Martina stated.

Buffon and Juventus eliminated Tottenham in this year's UEFA Champions League.

According to The Sun, there are three teams that could be interested in having Buffon around in the English Premier League, as Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester City could be in the market for a goalkeeper. Furthermore, Buffon's favorite EPL side, West Ham, might also show interest in the shot-stopper, since Joe Hart isn't expected to return next season, while Adrian's future is also uncertain.

Added to the interest from EPL clubs, PSG would also be keen on offering Buffon a two-year deal, according to a report published today by L'Equipe.
