Like Columbus Crew, Houston Dynamo have been one of the surprise packages so far this season. They come into this game having beaten Portland 2-1 on aggregate and overall are unbeaten in the last two months. However, they're missing A.J. DeLaGarza, George Malki and Memo Rodriguez due to injury and first-choice shot-stopper Tyler Deric misses out due to suspension.

So, is it totally advantage Seattle Sounders? Not necessarily. For starters, the Sounders have never won a game in Houston in their entire history. To date, the best they've achieved has been four draws, and so they will need to better that if they want to head back home with a firm advantage for the second leg. That being said, it will be much easier said than done. Sounders have failed to score in their last four away games, while Houston have managed clean sheets in their last three on home turf.

In addition, the visitors could be missing Jordan Morris, Brad Evans and Osvaldo Alonso due to injuries, which will naturally make things a lot trickier in the first leg of this series. Still, with veteran striker Clint Dempsey in their ranks, the visitors still are a major threat and Dynamo will naturally need to be on their guard as they seek their first finals appearance since 2012.
