The Ivory Coast midfielder runs out of contract this summer, but he prefers an EPL stay if the Sky Blues don't offer him an extension.

It seems like not every footballer in the world is seduced by the power of Chinese money.

With only five months left in his contract with Manchester City, midfielder Yaya Toure has shut the door to Chinese Super League's representatives, as he doesn't want to join the Far East league despite having a whopping offer on his table.

An undisclosed Chinese team offered Touré an impressive £430,000 a week salary, but the midfielder favours an EPL stay, even if the Citizens don't offer him a new deal.

After being frozen out by Pep Guardiola during the earlier months of the season, the African footballer has regained his spot in the team's starting lineup, and has delivered quite a few interesting performances for the Sky Blues.

In fact, Touré has decided to speak to other clubs until the end of the season, rather than start negotiations as FIFA's transfer regulations allow him to.

"No, I won't do that. My focus (is) on City, the future is there because for now the league is not finished," Touré stated.

Touré's future will be determined soon, as coach Pep Guardiola wants to analyze each case when the season comes to a close.
