More About Netherlands Cup
The Netherlands Cup, also known as the KNVB Cup, is a knockout domestic football competition in the Netherlands and overseen by the Royal Netherlands Football Association. It is well known as the Dutch Cup. The competition, which was largely inspired by the English FA Cup competition, gathers all the teams in the two highest tiers of Dutch league football, as well as the top four clubs in each of the 6 third tier of Dutch football. A few other teams are drawn from the fourth tier division to complete the number of participants to 88. The winner of the KNVB Cup automatically enters in the UEFA Cup, but if he happens to be the champion of the Eredivisie and therefore gets the chance to enter in the following year’s UEFA Champions League; then the UEFA Cup place is given to his opponent in the Netherlands Cup final.Netherlands Cup Videos
