Qatar Stars League

The Qatar League, better known as the Qatar Stars League, is the top professional league in Qatari Football. The Qatar Football League starts normally in September following the European seasons. The League consists of 12 football clubs. This has recently been expanded for the 2009-10 season from 10 football teams the previous year. The current Qatar League champion is Al-Gharrafa.
