Irish League Cup
The Ireland League Cup is an Irish football competition, which gathers all the country’s football league clubs. The competition started in 1973.
Its format has changed several times over the years; however, it is currently being contested on a straight knockout basis. The winner of the competition must play in the play-offs with the League of Ireland First Division’s winner, before competing in the Setanta Cup.
