Copa Sudamericana

Copa Sudamericana

The Copa Sudamericana is CONMEBOL’s second most important international football competition for clubs behind the prestigious Copa Libertadores. It is somehow comparable with the UEFA Europa League. Each participating nation is assigned a number of spots based on competitive ranking. Each FA decides selection criteria for eligible football clubs uniquely. The Copa Sudamericana starts in August 5 and continues until December.
