About CAF Champions League

The CAF Champion League is Africa's top football club competition, and includes the continent's top football clubs, from the most successful leagues. It s equivalent is the UEFA Champions League football tournament which takes place amongst Europe's top football teams.

The CAF Champions League is a annual football tournament with the top African football clubs. The competitions starts in January with a Preliminary round which leads into the 1/16th Finals Round in March. Advancing teams then play in the 1/8th Final round in April. The tournament continues into July through to September in a 2-group stage. Advancing teams then participate in the semi-finals in October. A two-legged final is then set in November.
