Egyptian Premier League

Premier League of Egypt is the domestic league football competition for Egypt. The Premier League consists of 16 football clubs. It is a strong league and currently ranked in the top 30 football leagues by IFFHS. The Clubs are only allowed three foreign footballers. Al-Ahly is the most decorated club in the league having won the domestic title 34 times, followed by Al-Zamalek with 11 domestic football titles. The current 2008-2009 Premier League Champion is Al-Ahly having won the league now 5 years consecutively.
