La 7 TV History, Coverage, Features
7 Televisión Región de Murcia is a free-to-air Spanish channel. It is owned and operated by Televisión Autonómica de Murcia, a division of the public entity that guards radio and tv broadcasts in that Spanish region. It was launched on April 14, 2006 but it underwent a brief hiatus in 2012, which prevented new shows to be aired. Eventually, 7 RM would return to in-house productions and live shows on November 5, 2012.
7 RM is classified as a general information channel, with most of its content created to satisfy the demand for local news in the Murcian region. The channel airs news broadcasts, TV series, entertainment programs, audio descriptive shows, and sports.
Speaking about sports, 7 RM has centered its sports coverage over the years around football, covering most games played by teams in the region thar are in the lower-tier divisions of Spanish football. Added to that, 7 RM has offered additional coverage with sports magazine shows and highlights during their regular news broadcasts.
7 RM started out with an SD format, but the channel has also been available in HD since June 1, 2015.
