The highly anticipated tournament Euro 2008 will be widely available in both the USA and Canada. So Soccer Fans can rest assured coverage will be extensive and readily available.

In the USA the following television networks ABC, ESPN, ESPN2 and ESPN Classic will join forces to offer American Soccer Fans exclusive premium live coverage of ALL 31 EURO 2008 Championship Matches. The final will be broadcast to all of the USA on ABC on Sunday, June 29, at 2:30 p.m. ESPN Deportes - ESPND will be the exclusive Spanish language network for the EURO 2008 in the USA.

In Canada TSN and RDS will combine to show all Euro 2008 matches in both Official national languages English and French. In addition, they also have the new media rights including broadband, video on mobile devices, video-on-demand and interactive TV.

Under the deal, TSN and RDS will provide multi-platform coverage of all 31 matches of the quadrennial tournament, which features the Top 16 European national soccer teams, including the final on June 29.

Coverage will begin Saturday June 7 with Switzerland vs Czech Republic and Portugal vs Turkey. Beyond the live matches expect in depth coverage of the tournament through a series of highlights shows on fixture days, extensive replays across several networks both on tv and through broadband.

ESPN2 will showcase the 2008 Euro Preview Show, a weekly Thursday evening show, starting on May 1, at 6 p.m.

Estimated televised and broadband audiences for the Euro 2008 are expected to break all previous records of any International Soccer Competition. This event is only surpassed by the upcoming Beijing 2008 Olympics and the FIFA 2010 World Cup in South Africa.
