The Vancouver Whitecaps travel to PAETEC Park to meet the Rochester Raging Rhinos in search of their first ever 1st Division Championship. The Rhinos, on the other hand, are looking to add a league-record fourth title to their list of honours. In league play, the teams have drawn once, with Rochester winning the following fixture. The world’s best soccer players are coming to the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation and Radio-Canada through 2014.
CBC/Radio-Canada reached a comprehensive programming agreement with FIFA, soccer’s global governing body, on Friday for Canadian broadcasting rights from 2007 to 2014.
The deal features the 2010 and 2014 World Cup soccer tournaments. It also includes the 2007 men’s under-20 World Cup in Canada, the 2007 women’s World Cup in China and the 2011 women’s World Cup. (Read full article…)

The deal features the 2010 and 2014 World Cup soccer tournaments. It also includes the 2007 men’s under-20 World Cup in Canada, the 2007 women’s World Cup in China and the 2011 women’s World Cup.

Starting at 2:00pm ET on Saturday La Liga dominates GOLTV’s pitch with toe-to-toe action, first with Racing versus Barcelona and then Dep. La Coruna matches up against Villarreal LIVE at 4:00pm ET.

Starting Saturday September 9th, 2006 GOLTV Canada will have close to 100 league games in the 2006/2007 season starting with toe-to-toe action with Roma and Livorno LIVE September 9th at 12:00pm ET and then Fiorentina vs. Inter Milan LIVE at 2:30pm ET. Kicking off Sunday morning is AC Milan and Lazio LIVE September 10th at 9:00am ET.
