TORONTO (April 30, 2009) – The FA Cup final between Chelsea and underdog Everton at Wembley Stadium Saturday, May 30 at 10 a.m. ET/ 7 a.m. PT highlights a month of must-see live action on Setanta Sports.

The European soccer and rugby seasons wind down in May and Setanta serves up 68 live matches in 31 days from some of the world’s top soccer, rugby union, rugby league and Australian Rules leagues and competitions.

In addition to the crowning of a new FA Cup champion on Setanta, fans of the beautiful game will also be able to see the drama unfold in the chase for the Barclays Premier League title. Setanta will broadcast 14 matches from England’s top league between May 2 and the final day of the Premier League season on May 24. Six of those matches will feature either current table leader Manchester United or their closest pursuers, Liverpool.  

Being crowned soccer kings of England is not all that is at stake in May. Setanta also features the scramble to avoid relegation with clubs like Newcastle United and Middlesbrough figuring prominently in the broadcast schedule.

The May soccer deluge on Setanta also includes playoff matches from the Coca Cola Championship, League 2, Blue Square Premier and the Ligue 1 of the French Football League.
