Premierships rookies Reading travel to the JJB Stadium where the Royals will challenge Wigan. The Royals started their season well with an impressive display, overcoming a two-goal deficit to defeat Middlesbrough. Wigan were defeated in their home opener against Newcastle.
19:00 - 21:30 ET– USL Soccer: USL-2 Championship ***LIVE***
USL Second Division Championships sees the Charlotte Eagles square off against the Richmond Kickers. Charlotte will be appearing in their third consecutive 2nd Division finals, and are the defending champs. The Kickers on the other hand, finished the regular season in the top spot and are looking to add to their trophy case by stealing the silverware from the Eagles.

A stoppage time goal saw defending champions Chelsea defeated by Middlesbrough. The Blues have had a shaky start to the season and will definitely need to find their pace if they hope to seriously challenge for a third straight title. In fact, Chelsea have only won two matches away from Stamford Bridge since January. The Blues travel to Villa Park to play Blackburn.
15:00 - 17:00 ET– Argentine Primera Division: San Lorenzo v Boca Juniors ***LIVE***
San Lorenzo have managed a strong start to the new season, winning two and drawing one. They play host to defending champs and perennial contenders Boca Juniors, who are once again sitting atop the league’s standings.
19:00 - 21:00 ET– MLS Soccer: Columbus v New England ***LIVE***
With eight matches left in the season, Columbus begin a fight to keep their playoff hopes alive. They are currently last in their division but only five points back of 2nd place. The Crew head to Gillette Stadium to challenge the 3rd-place New England Revolution.

Portsmouth will likely be without Pedro Mendes in their tie against Middlesbrough. The Portuguese midfielder was hospitalized after a horrendous challenge by Man City defender Ben Thatcher. Harry Redknapp’s squad will travel to the Riverside Stadium hoping to continue their strong start to the season. Middlesbrough too, have had a surprising start to the season, defeating defending champions Chelsea in their home opener.
