Portugal in action as part of a live double-header on Setanta Sports

 

TORONTO (September 4, 2008) – The long road for European nations looking to qualify for the 2010 FIFA World Cup begins this weekend when Armenia hosts Turkey Saturday, September 6 at 12 noon ET/ 9 a.m. PT live on Setanta Sports.

 

The Armenia versus Turkey match is followed by more live World Cup Qualifying action at 2 p.m. ET/ 11 a.m. PT when powerful Portugal travels to the tiny island nation of Malta.

 

Complementing the pair of live World Cup Qualifiers on Setanta Sports is same day coverage of two other matches on Saturday:

 

·      Austria vs. France              @ 4 p.m. ET/ 1 p.m. PT 

·           Cyprus vs. Italy            @ 5:45 p.m. ET/ 2:45 p.m. PT

World Cup Qualifying continues on Setanta Sports Wednesday, September 10 with a pair of live matches and two same day broadcasts. 

 

The first live match at 2 p.m. ET/ 11 a.m. PT features Turkey at home to Belgium. 

 

Portugal is in action again live at 4:45 p.m. ET/ 1:45 p.m. PT when they host Denmark. 

 

The two matches broadcast Wednesday on a same day taped basis are:
