VIVA ITALIA! GOLTV Salutes World Cup Champions, Team Italia, with a Memorable Look Back at the Year That Brought Them to the Copa

GOLTV’s exclusive one week programming relives the teams and Serie A matches behind the journey to Italia’s success

TORONTO – GOLTV and Italian fans won’t have to wait another four years to see the World Cup winning stars. Fans will be able to relive all the action of the 05/06 Serie A season starting July 24 to July 28 exclusively on GOLTV Canada.

All twenty three players from this year’s World Cup roster including Roma’s Totti, Juventus’, Del Piero, Inter Milan’s Materazzi to Palermo’s Grosso played in Serie A last season. Fans will be able to watch over forty hours of their favorite stars of World Cup soccer on GOLTV next week.

GOLTV will salute the 2006 soccer champions with an exclusive one week tribute that revisits the best games, team analysis, and history with such programs as GOL Premium, Ciao Serie A, and Match Capsule – a GOLTV Canada original one hour program with analysis and commentary on the game with host Lee Godfrey and analyst Paul James.

GOLTV’s exclusive salute to Il Calcio’s triumphant victory after twenty four years of World Cup defeat comes after they put out some of the best and most successful teams in the world like Germany, Portugal and France. VIVA ITALIA!
