During today’s UEFA EURO 2008^® semifinal between Germany and Turkey, lightning apparently struck a transmission tower in Switzerland causing short sporadic power outages in the second half of the game.  As a result, transmission of the World Feed signal was unavailable to all broadcasters around the world, including TSN, ESPN and the BBC, for approximately 25 minutes.

During TSN’s post-game show, TSN replayed highlights of the game, including goals that were missed due to the power outages.
