Thousands of Contestants will Vie for a Coveted Contract with Everton FC

Los Angeles, CA (June 4, 2008) – One young man’s dream of playing for a top European soccer club will be realized this summer on Fox Soccer Channel’s new reality show Soccer Dreams, debuting Saturday, June 7 at 12:00 p.m. ET.

Fox Soccer Channel’s first-ever reality show follows the story of thousands of young players in their quest to fulfill an unparalleled dream, a contract with Barclays Premier League club Everton FC of England. Talented youth soccer players between the ages of 14-19 face off and are put to the test in an effort to impress and earn the right to advance. The top 36 players will move onto the finals and live in the “House of Champions” for the final two weeks of the contest. At the show’s conclusion, one player will be awarded the coveted contract with Everton and fulfill his Soccer Dreams

Soccer Dreams, produced and directed by Jalal Merhi of Film One Production, will air every Saturday from 12-12:30 p.m. through August 9. It will then move to 6:30 p.m. ET on Saturdays from August 16 through August 30.
