Manchester UEFA Cup final fan zones
The UEFA Cup final will be shown on big screens in the centre of Manchester on the evening of the match to cater for thousands of expected ticketless fans.
Manchester City Council is organising two dedicated fan zones in which entertainment, food and drink will be made available, as well as shuttle buses to and from the City of Manchester Stadium for those with tickets, and three-a-side football tournaments for young people.
The council and police are preparing to accommodate up to 100,000 Glasgow Rangers fans, most of whom will not have tickets for the match at the 44,000-seat City of Stadium.
Rangers and their opponents Zenit St Petersburg were allocated 13,000 seats each for the final.
