The Hammers took a fortunate lead when Nobby Solano’s shot hit the woodwork and went into the net off keeper Craig Gordon. Bellamy sealed the points with a neat finish in the 90th minute.***

Earlier Heffernan opened the scoring for the Mariners and Elrich’s goal seemed to have give the home side a point.
