2 - throughout the year 2007
3- since Bob Bradley took over the helm
(first named interim, then head coach)
4- since 2006 FIFA World Cup over one year ago
(most recent loss in any match was the loss to Ghana in WC group stage)

Mexico still has not won against the USA in this decade.

Mexico, by scoring at the very end of the first half, made their first
goal against the USA on American soil since 1999, a span of 797
minutes of playing time.

USA and MEXICO have now each won the CONCACAF GOLD CUP 4 times.
Since its inception in modern form in 1991, only one other nation
besides these two have won: CANADA took the Cup in 2000.

With today’s CONCACAF GOLD CUP TITLE, USA will play the winners of the
other regional tournaments in the 2009 FIFA CONFEDERATIONS CUP.
