League-leading Inter head to Torino ’s Stadio Olimpico knowing the title is theirs to lose. 7 points up on nearest rival Roma and 13 points up on 3rd place Palermo, Inter must remain focused if hope to win the Scudetto. For Torino, a win here would add to an excellent pre-Christmas run which left Torino just four points back of a Champions League qualification spot.

Tottenham welcome Newcastle to White Hart Lane as they prepare to climb the standings. Currently in seventh-place, the Spurs are 5-points back of North London rivals Arsenal and the last Champions League qualification spot.

14:30 - 16:30 ET– Italian Serie A: Lazio v Siena ***LIVE***
Fifth-place Lazio received a huge confidence boost when they defeated city rivals Roma 3-nil in the capital derby. However, that confidence was soon weakened after a tough draw with Livorno and a loss to Inter. The Biancocelesti are hoping to start the new year off right with a win over Siena .

After a well earned draw in the earlier match, Sheffield Wednesday head to the City of Manchester Stadium for their 3rd Round replay with Manchester City . The winner will play at home against Southampton in the next round.

After drawing 2-2 in the last weekend’s match, Birmingham travel to St James’ Park without prodigy Nicklas Bendtner. Bendtner, on loan from Arsenal, injured his ankle in the earlier match against Newcastle . The winner will face Reading in the 4th Round.
