Both Sheffield United and West Ham have struggles this season. After pulling off an important win over Arsenal, the Hammers dropped 2 in a row and are just 1 point above the relegation zone. With (renewed?) luck, Eggert Magnusson’s £85m takeover of the club can breathe new life into West Ham. Sheffield United just a point back of West Ham and are currently in relegation danger. The Blades will to need to fight tooth-and-nail if they are to have any hope of a long stay in England ’s top flight. Sheffield United travel to Upton Park to take on West Ham.

9:00 - 11:00 ET– Italian Serie A: Lazio v Ascoli ***LIVE***
Lazio have found their form of late, netting 9 goals in 2 matches. Since the reduction in their Calciopoli penalty, the Biancocelesti have climbed to mid-table and are now only 1 point back of a UEFA Cup spot. A win over Ascoli would cement their rise and provide Lazio the chance to challenge for a spot in Europe next season.
11:00 - 13:00 ET– English Premier League: Manchester United v Chelsea ***LIVE***
Chelsea travel to Old Trafford with eyes on a win. The Blues trail Manchester United by 3 points in the race for the Premiership crown. Despite coming off a loss to Celtic in the Champions League earlier in the week, the Red Devils are hardly likely to give Chelsea an easy win. In fact, United has missed out on only 5 points so far this season, drawing with Reading and losing to Arsenal.
14:30 - 16:30 ET– Italian Serie A: Catania v Parma ***SAME-DAY DELAY***
After an embarrassing 7-0 thrashing by Roma last week, Catania were left licking their wounds. This week, the Elefanti play host to 16th-place Parma at the Stadio Angelo Massimino, hoping to come away with a win and a boost of confidence.
17:00 - 19:00 ET– Argentine Primera Division: Boca Juniors v Colón de Santa Fe***LIVE***
First-place Boca Juniors are looking to extend their lead over Estudiantes, who trail the Juniors by 4. The end of the 2006 Apertura season is quickly approaching and every point is important if Boca hope to claim a back-to-back Apertura titles. Boca Juniors play host to 18th-place Colón de Santa Fe .

After a loss to Reading and a draw with Blackburn , Tottenham are desperate to return to winning ways. The Spurs sit in 13th place in the Premier League and will need to greatly improve their performance if they hope for another European qualification next season. Wigan are 9th in the league, just 2 points ahead of the Spurs.

Fox Sports World Canada is proud to present a very special Wednesday EPL Double Header, starting with Bolton v Chelsea live from Reebok Stadium. After Sunday’s very important fixture, Chelsea continue their road trip by heading to the Reebok. With the race for top spot in the league as tight as it is, Chelsea can hardly afford to drop any points if they hope to keep pace with Manchester United. Bolton are also coming into this match on the tails of a difficult fixture, hosting Arsenal on Saturday.
17:00 - 19:00 ET– English Premier League: Fulham v Arsenal ***SAME-DAY DELAY***
In the second match of the Wednesday EPL Double-Header, Arsenal travel to Craven’s Cottage to play Fulham. The Gunners meet Fulham a week after a very tense Champions League fixture against Hamburg SV and only a few days after playing Bolton at the Reebok. Arsenal hopes the confidence from their Hamburg win carries over to the Premiership, where they trail league-leading Manchester United by 12 points.
