17:00 - 19:00 ET– English Premier Leauge: Middlesbrough v Everton
Everton and Aston Villa are the only two clubs to remain undeafeated so far in this year’s Premiership. The Toffees also share with Chelsea the honour of being the only sides to score in every Premiership fixture this season. Everton head to the Riverside to challenge Middlesbrough. Boro have managed only one win this season, upsetting Chelsea 2-1.

22:30 - 00:30 ET– MLS Soccer: LA Galaxy v FC Dallas ***LIVE***
FC Dallas travel to the Home Depot Center just one week after eliminating LA from the playoff contention and securing themselves home-field advantage for the MLS Cup playoffs. The Galaxy will be looking for revenge, as LA is the current title holder and will be unable to defend the silverware.

9:00 - 11:00 ET– Italian Serie A: Torino v Chievo ***LIVE***
Torino host Chievo at the Stadio Olimpico in Turin. Both sides are looking to overcome rocky starts to the season. Newly-promoted Torino have yet to prove they belong in Italy’s top-flight, and coach Alberto Zaccheroni’s days with the club may be numbered. Chievo, too, have yet to impress this season as they travel to the Stadio Olimpico to take on Torino..

11:00 - 13:00 ET– English Premier League: Newcastle v Bolton***LIVE***
Bolton are coming off back-to-back Premiership victories, having earned wins over Portsmouth and Liverpool. However, the Wanderers have not won at St. James Park since 1959. In fact, they have only pulled one point in their last seven outings at St James.

14:30 - 16:30 ET– Italian Serie A: Lazio v Cagliari ***LIVE***
Lazio have had a decent start this season, looking for a fourth-consecutive victory as they host Cagliari. The Rossoblu, on the otherhand, have yet to win a match this season.

17:00 - 19:00 ET– Argentine Primera Division: Banfield v River Plate
After handing Boca Juniors their first loss of the season, River Plate have managed to narrow the gap between themselves and the Juniors to a single point. River now look to defeat Banfield and overtake Boca in the standings.

19:00 - 21:00 ET– MLS Soccer: Chivas USA v Real Salt Lake ***LIVE***
Chivas USA head into this tie with Real Salt Lake having clinched their first ever MLS Cup berth. Real Salt Lake, on the other hand, is in a much more precarious position. Not only must Real defeat Chivas, but they also have to hope that Houston defeats Colorado in order for them to secure their spot in the playoffs.

Monday, October 16th, 2006
15:00 - 17:00 ET– English Premier League: Fulham v Charlton***LIVE***
Charlton travel to Craven Cottage desperate to avoid a fifth-consecutive league loss. The Addicks are dead-last in the Premiership and are hoping to reverse a dismal start to the season. Fulham are slightly better off that their opponents, but the Cottagers are still searching for their first League win in four matches.
