Paul Vance tries to combine a passion for football writing with a busy full-time involvement in the Aerospace industry.
He turned to writing after deciding he wasn't going to make it in the game as a player. From Northern Ireland, in the past Paul has covered Irish League games for the Belfast Telegraph, written various articles for local football publications, and is a former editor of The Glentoran Gazette - the official matchday magazine of Glentoran Football Club, 23 times Irish League Champions.
He has lived in North America since moving to Toronto in July 2001, and since 2005 has resided in Montreal, home of the Impact a 2012 season addition to MLS.
Having been brought up from a young age on a diet of Best, Law and Charlton, it's probably no surprise that Paul still retains a deep-rooted affection for The Red Devils, and indeed is probably the only Manchester United season Ticket Holder living in Montreal.
